Bhai Sahib’s was no ordinary family they had converted to Sikhi and was regarded as Sant Jarnail Singh Khalsa Bhindranwale’s closest aides. When the army attacked Sri Harmandir Sahib they held their positions until the tanks came into the parakarma (walk way around Sri Harmandir Sahib). Bibi Pritam Kaur and the 2 young children helped the defence by refilling the gun magazines and bring in water and food to the defenders.
On the 6th June, Bhai Mohar Singh done his final Ardas to Guru Ji and he and his little sweet babies and Singhni fell onto the army tank near where Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Ji fell.

Bhai Mohar Singh and the whole family stopped the tank in its tracks and joined the long list of martyrs.
After the attack and oppression leashed on the villagers Bhai Mohar Singhs family became a target of the army. Bhai Mohar Singhs nephews Bhai Bakshish Singh ‘Kalyug’ and Bhai Parmjit Singh ‘Pama’ join the freedom struggle they too took Amrit and join the long list of martyrs.

Their parents are Mata Suhag Vanti and his father Pandit Bihari Lal Ji, the village Jumal Pur, District Amritsar.
